Biography:

Patrick Sunderman was born in Farmington, Minnesota, and graduated from Farmington High School in 2012. He joined the West Virginia Army National Guard in August 2012 and completed basic and artillery training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He then attended West Virginia University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport psychology in May 2016. He enlisted on active duty in June 2016 and was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) International Team as a shooter/instructor. Patrick has had a distinguished shooting career before joining the Army. He was a four-time NCAA National Champion (2013-2016) with the West Virginia University rifle team.
