COLO SPRGS, CO (June 9, 2023) – The Bunker Club Athlete Endowment Grant, founded in 1998, annually awards grants to aspiring junior athletes looking to further their shooting careers.

The grant is designed for pipeline and developmental athletes striving to make USA Shooting’s National Teams and to potentially represent Team USA in national and international shooting sports competitions.

The Bunker Club accepts applications annually and awarded a total of $100k to 22 youth athletes across all disciplines of shotgun, rifle, and pistol in 2022. Over the history of this program, the Bunker Club has generously contributed over $800,000 to deserving young athletes, many of whom have gone on to Olympic competitions.

In 2023, USA Shooting is pleased to announce the award of grants totaling $100,000 to 20 promising and very talented junior athletes aspiring to advance to the USA Shooting Junior and Development Programs. These athletes have the ability to utilize the grants for firearms, equipment, ammunition, competition entry fees, and travel, (including international travel).

The endowment is funded by a group of generous and passionate donors resolved to promoting and supporting youth shooting sports.

“USA Shooting sincerely appreciates the Bunker Club’s extraordinary generosity and efforts to expand the shooting sports through youth development,” said Craig Kozeniesky, USA Shooting chief executive officer. “The Bunker Club is a key enabler and invaluable partner to the expansion and progression of junior athletes into future National Team athletes and Olympians.”

The grants are open to all junior athletes who have not previously received any financial support from USA Shooting. The application window opens up in the first quarter of every calendar year.
